Meaning behind this tattoo:

I knew when coming to Italy I wanted to document my time here in a special way. I was searching for tattoo ideas but none of them seemed to grasp a deep meaning. I ended up coming across a painting of these two cute angels. I took a few days to sit with the idea of getting them tattooed… when one day I walked into a gift shop in Orvieto and found the exact painting on the cover of a notebook. It brought me comfort.

L’Amour et Psychè is an oil painting created by William Adolphe Bouguereau. These two little angels serve as a reminder of the power of love and peace in our lives. No matter how old I get, or how far away I may be from home, I will always know that the ones I love are in my corner through every walk of life. As I continue this phase of my life exploring near and far this serves as a reminder that I’m never truly alone. ❣️
