The Wait Is Over!

Officially, I can call Orvieto home for the next four months. When we arrived, we were greeted by many different locals. They are all so sweet and welcoming. Walking into this new chapter, I was nervous. But after meeting everyone and getting a tour around the convent I will be living in, I am so excited to see where this journey takes me and this group. It’s so cool that we are all walking into this semester abroad opportunity together. We got all unpacked; I met my cool roommate, Theo. We met our grandma, Chief Maria. She is the sweetest thing and has welcomed us in like her children. We had an excellent meal prepared and then went on a walk around the town. So beautiful! This day has felt like an eternity, and I’m ready to rest and have another fun-filled day tomorrow. My roommate and I luckily defeated the jet leg already ;)
